This was going to be a post about our incredible and talented managers, rising through the ranks of ETM Group London - today it is the Graduation Ceremony for more than a dozen rising stars who have recently completed our EPIC Pros Junior Leadership programme. 👩🎓 Each of them are presenting their project work that tasked them with assessing their team's work style; giving constructive feedback; working through a solution to an existing problem; and actioning a motivational initiative. These may be our employees at the beginning of their leadership career but there were some fantastic insights that came through; and they way they demonstrated the knowledge of their teams and their solution-focused mindset was so impressive! 🤩 Anyway, quite aside from that, what really came to light, is the sibling connections we have in our teams and that is really special. Just in the team members represented today we have identical twins in our bars; sisters in the sales team; one of our Exec chefs' daughters also works in the same site; and we have a married couple in our kitchens! 👨👩👧👦 So, when we say, "hospitality is for EVERYONE; bring your friends and family for a fabulous career opportunity"; it really is true! Work colleagues can become family, because we create that kind of connection in hospitality environments. But also family can be colleagues. At the beginning of every #LDI we ask the question: "Why is now a good time for you to do the LDI?" A “must” training program for large and small scale changes. As managers we tend to forget that a “small” change in the context of the organization, affecting a handful of people, is the biggest change those people will ever experience. In the workplace as it evolves, the high-involvement change is the only way to make the change deliver the expected outcomes.

Theater Alliance was so pleased to join Booz Allen Hamilton at The Anthem for their Booz Allen Excellence Awards! The talented team of Theater Alliance artists and youth "brought the magic" to the evening of WOW led by Natalie Ade, Kari Merkel, and team. Arts organizations get asked to perform at these kind of events all the time - and as an artistic leader, we get asked to make those decisions. For me, the question always comes down to #values. Does the organization align with our values of integrity, diversity, and excellence? Does the organization value artists? Does the organization live their values? With #BoozAllenHamilton, the answer was a resounding YES. Even in the first conversation about the event, we didn't talk about what they needed or how to make all their dreams come true on a tiny budget. Instead, we talked about what they believe in and what we believe in - we talked about the WHY of our organizations. That is what makes a great collaboration and I'm grateful! #values #integrity #diversity #excellence
