Hitachi Sigma VRF "OPEN VALVE" mode This mode is only used on the Sigma VRF system (RAS-FSXNSE)(RAS-FSXNPE) This mode allows you to open all valves inside the outdoor unit, CH box and indoor units. This mode is especially important when carrying out a system wide pressure test, recovery and evacuation. Reducing the risk of trapped refrigerant or air behind any valves that might be closed when the system is powered down. It can be used if carrying out repairs to an existing system or on a new installation if you believe a CH box or indoor has been accidentally powered up, resulting in a valve being closed and closing part of the system off.
