If the Biden Mental Health Parity Act is passed it will be a good and solid start, but it will only highlight the massive supply and demand imbalance between the number of licensed providers in the United States and the number of folx who need help. Hopefully, this national statement will push more investment into scalable solutions that demonstrate outcomes without relying on 1:1 therapy from licensed providers. This is why Wave exists.
