If the Biden Mental Health Parity Act is passed it will be a good and solid start, but it will only highlight the massive supply and demand imbalance between the number of licensed providers in the United States and the number of folx who need help. Hopefully, this national statement will push more investment into scalable solutions that demonstrate outcomes without relying on 1:1 therapy from licensed providers. This is why Wave exists. We couldn't be more excited to help bridge the access gap by using evidence-based digital therapeutics and real-life human beings, while demonstrating outcomes. We will continue to work hard to prove that scale and efficacy are not opposites, but can exist together to effect real access.
