Team Anywhere means Atlassians choose where they work, every single day. Since we implemented this approach in 2020, our workforce has become highly distributed. Instead of being contained to one of our 12 global offices, Atlassians now collaborate from 10,000+ locations. As a result: ⏰ Atlassians got back nearly half a billion minutes in saved commute time 💙 92% of Atlassians say Team Anywhere allows them to do their best work 🖥️ Our candidate offer accept rate jumped up by 20% Of course, getting 10,000 people based all over the world to connect and collaborate is no small feat! See what we’ve learned over the past 3 years, including specifics on our redesigned offices and how we’ve helped Atlassians cut down meeting time and feel less drained at the end of each day. https://bit.ly/48zjO4x

Perhaps an undermentioned benefit: I get an opportunity to work with people all over the world, which is critical to having diverse perspectives and input in how our work drives impact and ensuring decisions are made with many perspectives contributed. I consider this a huge business and personal opportunity and benefit. Additionally, I will note that it was an adjustment but the teams I’ve had an opportunity to work with within Atlassian have demonstrated creative ways to adapt and leverage new ways of working to stay connected and transparent in progress. And yes, no commute and flexible time management has significantly improved my work life balance. I can show up my best on all fronts more frequently, stress has been reduced while productivity has increased. This flexibility allows for more connectedness across time zones rather than less in my experience.

Excellent resource to combat the return-to-office mandates. THIS is the future of work, and companies CAN achieve excellent bottom-line results in a distributed workforce (that includes in-office, hybrid, and fully-remote workers) 👏

I read the PDF and it sheds so much insight. Nothing is really surprising, but Atlassian made it into reality. Any company or team can follow this playbook.

Amazing. Great to see that there are companies that understand the tremendous benefits a remote workforce brings to the business, to the families, to society, and to the planet.

Great report Atlassian! Distributed work ftw 🚀

Atlassian is truly a company where every remote worker aspires to work, not only because of the 'work from anywhere' culture but also due to the work-life balance and the company's culture, which represents its core values at their best. Kudos to Atlassian INDIA. 🙂
