The Financial Services sector is undergoing rapid digital transformation, which is driving the need for greater efficiency and innovation. New York led in job postings recorded since 2021 with a 4% increase since 2019, followed by Charlotte and Chicago. The metro areas benefitting from the greatest talent demand are New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Charlotte, and Philadelphia. Cities that recorded the most growth in job postings since 2019 include Plano, TX (+84%), Irving, TX (+75.9%), and Tampa, FL (+64.5%).

Charles Schwab, one of the nations largest discount broker, is facing some serious financial challenges. Currently, laying off employees and shredding their real estate, up to $500 million. They are downsizing, and are projected to shut down offices in five cities around the country. They are transitioning to a remote workstyle in order to reduce costs. As for Denver, Charles Schwab has a large office building off of Lincoln & I-25. It was built in 2014, we are unsure if these closures will affect the Lone Tree building. In the recent times, we have seen an abundance of companies switch over to this remote workstyle. It's interesting to see the future of Charles Schwab given these decisions.
