As a product manager at ZEE, I've realised that effective collaboration with cross-functional teams is the cornerstone of successful product development. It's not just about bringing together different expertise from engineering, design, marketing, and sales; it's about fostering a culture of open communication, aligned goals, and shared ownership. In my experience, breaking down silos and creating a collaborative environment is essential for bringing products to life. Here are a few key practices that have helped me achieve this: 1. Establish clear communication channels: Regular meetings, shared workspaces, and instant messaging tools are crucial for keeping everyone on the same page. 2. Define common goals and objectives: Ensure everyone understands the overall product vision and how their specific contributions fit into the bigger picture. 3. Embrace diverse perspectives: Encourage open feedback and discussion to leverage the collective knowledge and expertise of the team. 4. Celebrate successes together: Recognise and reward team achievements to foster a sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment. 5. Address conflicts constructively: When disagreements arise, approach them as opportunities for learning and improvement. By fostering a collaborative environment, we can harness the collective power of cross-functional teams to bring innovative and impactful products to life. #product #zee

At Easter, I finished up a 3-month engagement as a fractional Chief Product Officer with the delightful team at FileInvite. Working with the team just two days a week, we made an incredible amount of progress on a number of critical milestones in just one quarter. - We brought the customer into the centre of our decision-making - stepping up discovery on our ICP, recruiting strategic design capability, and going deep on our customers’ commercials and FI’s economic value. - We aligned leadership on critical goals and strategic intents for the year ahead and collaborated cross-functionally to progress a shared, focused programme of work. - We refreshed key value propositions and created a long-term product vision and strategy that traversed geographic markets and customer segments. - We developed a new packaging hypothesis for validation and price testing with customers. - We defined business value and used Cost of Delay to inform prioritisation and focus efforts on what matters most. - SLT obtained the confidence of the board for the new strategy. 🙌 - And we had a heck of a lot of fun! (Well I did, anyway 😅) Loved working with you James Sampson, Alan Vieira, James McGeorge, Kristen Patel, Talya Avram and Michael Chang. 💛 But... all good things must come to an end, so from late April I have 8-16 hours/week available to help another tech company chart their course for growth. 🚀 If you're in Australia or NZ and need help with product vision and strategy, spearheading a critical project, helping your senior team lead through change, or lifting commercial acumen in your product team to better connect customer value with business value, please get in touch. I'd love to chat. Caption: A somewhat terrifying vibrant office scene with happy professionals handling documents and closing deals, from Dall-E.

Storyteller Through Pixels | Transforming Concepts into Captivating Visuals and Digital Marketing Communications
The Importance of Strong #Product Knowledge in the #Marketing Department 💪 Having joined Kinze Europe over a year ago, I began my #journey alongside Gary Newell, who works as the Senior Global Product Specialist. On my very first day, he inundated me with all the necessary information about #Kinze #planters, #graincarts, and other products 💙 I am very grateful to him for this, as when working in marketing with an unfamiliar product, it is crucial not to make mistakes, and to strive to acquire as much #knowledge as possible 👏 Every day, we collaborate on developing new marketing strategies, campaigns, and other marketing activities. Reflecting on my experience, I've come to understand the pivotal role that a product specialist plays in the marketing department. They serve as the bridge between the technical aspects of the product and its marketing strategy. Their deep understanding of the product not only ensures accurate representation but also enables more effective #communication with potential customers 🤜 🤛 In today's #digital age, where information is abundant and #consumer preferences are ever-evolving, having a product specialist with comprehensive knowledge is invaluable. They not only contribute to the development of marketing campaigns but also assist in product positioning and differentiation in a crowded #marketplace 🌐 I firmly believe that the collaboration between marketing professionals and product specialists forms the foundation for successful product promotion and customer #engagement. As we continue to navigate the dynamic landscape of marketing, I am confident that our partnership will drive innovation and #growth for Kinze Europe 🚀

Today, I'm thrilled to share a significant milestone in my professional journey. After an incredible journey since day zero, I've made a challenging decision to say farewell to my role as Lead Product Manager at WeWALK. At WeWALK, we didn't just develop a product portfolio; we pioneered an entirely new category in the market. From navigating the 0 to 1 stage, we navigated through a challenging path of scaling our solutions, building end-user products, and groundbreaking hardware, software, and data-based products. What truly excites me is not just delivering a product portfolio but cultivating a product management culture in my role. I am proud to be handing over our roadmap to a team of skilled professionals who are passionate and committed to making an impact. I want to express my gratitude to the incredible team at WeWALK. With your support, I've built some anchor points that I'll benchmark the situation wherever I'm at; → Our climate: which we've braided together → Our strategy: to create a category where fewer are willing to invest → Our execution: efforts to make things happen → Our impact: business impact, and our impact on the lives of visually impaired → And self-actualization: My initial career path was becoming an expert analyst. WeWALK altered my way to make me a multi-façaded product executionist who is equipped with technical and soft skills, can manage both product and product organization, and can make data-driven and product-sense-driven decisions. This decision is fueled by my desire to achieve more, to explore new horizons, and to take a brief pause to prepare for the next epic chapter of my career. As I venture into this new chapter, I am eager to embrace fresh challenges, seek new opportunities, and continue contributing to the dynamic world of product management. #NewBeginnings #ProductManagement #CareerJourney #WewalkTogether

🚀 #TeamTuesday Spotlight 🚀 It's time for our weekly glimpse of the magic behind the scenes here at Launch Control! This Tuesday, we are excited to introduce you to an indispensable member of our crew. 👋 Meet Filip Savić – Product Manager at Launch Control! 🌟 Introducing Filip: one of our visionaries, charting the course for Launch Control’s success! 💡🔧 We caught up with him to gain some insights, and here's what he had to share: ❓: How do you prioritize features or improvements in a product, especially when faced with diverse feedback from stakeholders and users? 📩: Prioritization is actually one of the most challenging aspects of product management, particularly when dealing with diverse feedback from stakeholders and users. Having a clear long-term product vision and goals helps this process a lot. Being in the Text Marketing Industry also comes with constantly addressing and prioritization of critical issues that may have legal or compliance implications, so risk assessment is one of the top priorities to be considered. Coming from an engineering background, I always like to include data analytics to identify trends, user behavior, and performance metrics, and run beta tests. Impact vs. effort analysis for each proposed feature is also something that can influence prioritization, so I like to discuss it with developers to understand estimates and any technical debt as soon as possible. Combining all of the above makes it much easier to categorize into must-haves, nice-to-haves, and future considerations and build a stable product roadmap. ❓: And, If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? 📩: I'd definitely choose healing powers first - being able to heal any living being would be incredible. But for fun (and selfish reasons) - Teleportation! Love exploring new places, but I'm more and more annoyed with security checks, dragging my suitcase, endless lines and uncomfortable travel I need to endure before I get to the destination. Imagine putting on a swimsuit in your apartment and then teleporting to an exotic beach in a few seconds! :) Thank you, Filip, for your unwavering dedication to the team. 💛🚀 Stay tuned for our next #TeamTuesday feature and get to know the amazing people who make Launch Control soar! #LaunchControl #WholesaleRealEstate #MeetTheTeam #RealEstateInvestors #ProductManager #ProductManagement
