Working at #Selectra for over three years, Arnaud Delaval started out as a sales agent for the Belgian market, then quickly moved into managerial positions. Now supervisor of the Telecom team, let’s meet him! 💼 Why did you decide to join Selectra in the first place? 💼 Following a career change and a six-month trip to Canada, I decided to broaden my range of professional opportunities when I returned to Belgium in 2020. I had always been interested in sales and Selectra's offer in Madrid was the perfect opportunity to develop my skills. 😍 What do you like the most about your job? 😍 Human relations, which are an integral part of management, is a subject I enjoy immensely. Listening, adapting, motivating and instilling positivity are all part of my day-to-day. On a different note, the commercial and analytical aspects involved in developing a sales project are also very exciting. 📈 What are your biggest challenges today? 📈 My biggest challenges are linked to the development needs related to the Belgian telecom project. It's a fast-growing market so you have to be adaptable, ingenious, responsive and proactive. In my opinion, the healthy expansion of a business project requires constant reflection and questioning, as well as impeccable communication between the various people involved in the project. These are major challenges that I'm very happy to take on! 💙 What has been your best memory at Selectra? 💙 One of my fondest memories is without a doubt when I was promoted to manager in 2021. It's a great feeling to have the opportunity to progress and to feel recognised by your company and your colleagues. COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US MORE ABOUT YOURSELF? I trained as a pharmacist because I like to help people. This, however, can be achieved in many different ways. After moving to Switzerland, I became heavily involved in my community and local school. I also learned German, as I felt this was very important as a part of my integration. My hobbies include spending time with my family, travelling, reading, baking and crocheting. I am constantly studying and would love to master basic French in the near future. WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT BNOVATE? I am the Zurich Office Manager. My role is to create a friendly environment in the office and be helpful to everybody and, in doing so, to make their office lives easier and more enjoyable.
