According to McKinsey & Company's Global Energy Perspective 2023, global clean hydrogen demand is projected to grow significantly by 2050. However, infrastructure scale-up and technology advancements are needed to meet this projected demand. That’s where #MachH2 comes in. How can we make the #hydrogen revolution a reality? 💧 The world has made significant progress – yet there is still much to do – in large-scale clean hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and power generation. Some near-term wins include expanding electrolyzer manufacturing for renewable-powered electrolysis and utilizing underground salt caverns for hydrogen storage in the development of the Advanced Clean Energy Storage Hub in Delta, Utah. In the long-term, we need to develop domestic supply chains, advance hydrogen usage in large-scale power generation, and adapt existing infrastructure – made possible with public-private partnerships and supportive policies.
