A recent post from Charlotte Snelgrove showcased an incredible example of how we keep our ‘start up spirit’ alive and how important it is not to accept labourious and convoluted decision making processes. Those things delay getting sh*t done to drive progress and, importantly in the transition to a greener future, deliver awesome outcomes. I witnessed it in the flesh this week. A simple session with Jim Bennett about customer engagement led to three of our sales team nailing a live webinar with their customers, providing expert advice and guidance on the journey to low carbon living. Many places in agreeing a live chat might default to tight scripts with scrutiny of every word to mitigate risk. We default to trust and confidence in our teams who make the difference in customer love. We’ll never take for granted the importance of getting it right for our customers.
