Has hiring turned so scientific?🤔 Nowadays, many candidates complain of not being considered and not even getting regrets after applying for a job.🫠 I have been doing some nitty gritty searches, talking to candidates and some recruiters about the same. Well, the, preliminary results pointed out that each application should be treated independently. Look at this points team; 1. Tailor a CV into that specific job, do not just attach without including one or two job responsibilities in that job. Remember, the employer is the buyer, so sell what he/she needs. 2. Teaching philosophy - most recruiters may not ask you for the *best lesson plan* *values* but they will read into who you are through this philosophy. Remember, always link the values in your CV with a teaching statement. 3. Application letters is another tool that puts down alot of candidates. The main thing in this document is achievements and *why you think you are the best candidate* For this and more, get to our website, information is free. You can also download some documents for free. Have a wonderful day. https://jobwinningpro.com/

You have a rich experience, your problem is that you haven't been documenting. I regard myself as an energetic person and I am always up there to go after the next project without documenting the impact I made with the ones I had successfully implemented. Hence, my inability to document properly was one of the biggest problems I had while starting out my career. Leading on both simple and complex projects are some of the thrilling parts of my job. I remembered there was a time I was asked to implement a project within the shortest time frame. I looked at the project magnitude, I looked at myself, I looked at the project and I had to reiterate to myself it is DOABLE (thanks to a good voice I also have close to me in human form). I manned up and told myself: if I was asked to lead it then that means I can do it. What do you think happened to the project? I did it ofcourse! With a good review following it. Back to you now, dear reader, think of those moments you've also pulled some weights in your career and ask yourself, did I document that? Or moving on, anytime you pull some tangible weight in your workplace, you make a decision to document it! Asides from it being helpful to take stock of your career impacts which are relevant for future opportunities, it helps you monitor the changes and the progress you are making in your career journey (which might not have been glaring if you weren't documenting). Also, you get to meet more of yourself and even become more self-aware which in turn boosts your confidence. If you document properly using the rightful metrics to identify your key achievements or impacts, when those greater opportunities present themselves, you will already have a truckload of arsenal to fire shots from based on the stories you've had lined up. Also, HR Professionals also do say: “Don't copy and paste job descriptions in your CV, use quantifiable impacts and key achievements”. The truth is you will have robust key achievements to express on your CV if you've been effectively documenting. I have learnt my lesson, it's time to pick yours. Anyway, this is March and my word for the month is GO FORTH! P.S.: This image was taken 1st March 2021, the day I wrote my last exam as a Master's student at the University of Ibadan.

Empowering Women in Leadership to Overcome Stage Fright, Imposter Syndrome, and Boost Their Confidence to KILL Those Interviews to Land Higher-Paying Roles! 🔥 Launching a New Interview Prep Course This Fall!
Everyone compares job searching to dating, but … To me, job searching is also like making a meal. 🍽 🥣Messaging: The Menu / Ingredients You need specific ingredients to make a specific meal, right? Same thing -- your job search begins with crafting a compelling messaging package. This includes your cover letter (appetizer), resume (the main course), portfolio and LinkedIn profile (the sides), etc. Each “ingredient” plays a CRUCIAL role in creating a strong first impression. 🍲 Job Search Strategies: Cooking Time You got all the ingredients, but what you gon do with it? Do you stir it, fry it, whip it (bop it, twist it, pull it)…? Just like you have to do something with your ingredients, now you have to figure out how you’re going to job search. What job boards to use? Should you network? Who will you should network with? How much time are you going to spend searching? How are you going to showcase your messaging so that everyone wants a “taste.” 🍜 🤤 Interviewing: It’s plated, hot and ready! Come get it! The dish you pick out is usually the most delicious looking, mouthwatering one, that makes you want to sample it right then and there, right? In the same way, the interview is the employer “sampling” you. The “menu” looked good enough for you to pick it, but does it taste right? Your interview skills need to be on point so they can “taste all the flavors,” they can “savor it,” and ultimately, you’ll be their favorite “meal.” Because if it doesn’t “taste” right, back to the kitchen it goes… and you won’t get that new job you wanted. 😎 If you want to put your best “meal” together and have employers pick up what you’re putting down, I want to introduce you to The Job Search Success Academy!
