Typography tip: Font weight, leading, and tracking should all decrease as font size increases, generally speaking. #type #typography #fonts #design

  • Type samples showing the differences between font weight, leading, and tracking at 48px font size, 21px font size, and 14px font size.

We often see thick bold heavy display fonts (which often look wonderful) but it is such a contrast to the theory I learned in school, which is well exactly what you’ve posted here 🤓 The smaller the font, increase its weight, give it some breathing room, et voila, more readable text.

I love these posts, I took typography in college - it was one of my favorite classes!
