Really great summary write-up on the Forrester AI Predictions 2024 report by Alton Zenon III. In particular, I like this summary of how AI will force marketing service providers to evolve: As the AI gap widens, 50% of tech executives will seek external partnerships to bridge it. Unable to harness genAI, engineering prompts, and AI-integrated applications, they will turn to service providers like Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, and Wipro. These vendors, already heavily invested in the field, offer the necessary tools, alliances, and expertise. With AI on the rise, these executives will strategically balance between dependency and co-innovation, seeing it as an opportunity to reshape external relationships. I'm already starting to see signals of this here at Jasper -- new customers who are already parting ways with their legacy, cumbersome service providers who charge way too much to move way too slow with their outputs. There's a huge opportunity here for service providers to shift to offering AI-powered services, but you should probably start building this expertise right about... now. 🔮 What does the future of #martech look like now that #AI has entered the picture? 🔮 Ultimately, it could go one of three ways. 1. AI gets integrated into martech platforms. This would allow enhanced data analysis and be a great way to optimise your conversion rates. However, this future hinges on having a good understanding of technology and taking privacy seriously. 2. Specialised tools would emerge. In this future, AI might not be integrated into all of martech. Instead, it would be used to design specific tools such as content optimisation tools. This would change how marketers work, not their understanding of their customers. 3. AI and martech would become consolidated and centralised. Instead of segmenting AI into specific functions or tools, organisations would take a unified approach to integration. We'd now have everything under one roof, so to speak. Personally, I think the most likely outcome will be a mix of all 3 but, in reality, only time will tell. #FutureOfMartech #Technology #Adtech
