License exempt -DECT 1880 to 1930Mhz I was asked what do I do with this band at large scale events, after all it’s license exempt! hmmm 🤔 well if you want to come into my house you play by my rules DECT kit has become so popular with AVX Mics, Clearcomm, Riedel Bolero and so many other things. So why would I coordinate it, well simple it can become congested no matter what people say about frequency hoping blah blah blah if a band is full of signals it’s full So first of all do we really need all these people on different networks? Why have so many separate ones? politics? Money? I don’t play with other’s attitude? So benefit if one big network, improved coverage, capacity l, interoperability between groups and less chance or interference But If folk want to use their own setup, well simple instructions from me, don’t put your antenna up high, you don’t need to cover the whole place, point it inwards if your running tv mini studio areas, don’t use high power AVX sorry don’t allow it at all if I have a lot of DECT beltpack systems. Use a cable simple answer Also folk forget you can’t use the whole 1880 to 1930Mhz in all countries there are limits so don’t bring kit to my events you can’t program and stop using frequencies it’s illegal to use.
