#DFW50 THROWBACK: On Jan. 12, 1979, we welcomed not one, but two Concordes to DFW Airport! 🛬🛬 To inaugurate Braniff's Concorde service between DFW & Europe (through an interchange agreement with British Airways and Air France), the two Supersonic Transports landed within one second of one another on parallel runways. Braniff pilots would fly the Concordes from DFW to Dulles International Airport, and then European crews would take over for the flights to London or Paris. 🇬🇧🇫🇷 #TBT

Last week, more than 100 first response professionals from the North Texas community came to DFW Airport to test our preparedness and communication capabilities! 📡 The event showcased more than a dozen mobile command posts from federal, state, local, non-profit, and private organizations. 🚓 🚑 🚒 These mobile command posts are essential for ensuring rapid and effective coordination during emergencies, and we're thankful to be part of such a proactive and prepared response apparatus for our region!
