Does anyone else experience anxiety when planning and packing for a vacation? Despite being organized and good at administrative things, I dislike planning vacations. As a recovering perfectionist, I feel compelled to do extensive research to ensure I have the perfect gear and make the most of every moment, not wanting to miss a thing. This is compounded by my upbringing, where vacations were a rarity. I feel an intense pressure to maximize every dollar spent on these precious getaways. This paradox often makes the lead-up to vacations incredibly stressful, even though vacations are meant to be relaxing and recharging. Does anyone else feel the same way? Have you found any solutions to this dilemma? I'd love to hear your thoughts and tips!

**Have You All Planned Your Vacations? Here's How to Optimize Your Summer for Maximum Productivity** As summer approaches, it’s essential to recognize the unique opportunities this season offers, even amidst the intense forty-degree heat of Tbilisi. For many, summer is a favorite time of the year. For others, it's a crucial period for preparation and strategic planning. For me, summer is not just about relaxation; it's a pivotal time for gearing up for the fall and winter. The old adage rings true: how you spend your summer sets the tone for the rest of the year. While summer traditionally sees a slowdown in activities due to the heat and the allure of leisure, it also presents a rare opportunity. While 99% of people may be indulging in leisurely activities, the remaining 1% can seize the moment for significant undertakings. Major achievements often stem from goals—those that we typically don't have the time to address. Think of it like the reading list we all bring on vacation, optimistically thinking, "I'll get through this on the beach." This summer, I propose we tackle these ambitious goals while still enjoying the season. Here are my professional plans for the summer, commitments I’m sharing to ensure accountability: 1. **Create a Course on Political Savvy:** This will be designed as a mastermind program with behind-the-scenes tasks for ambitious and intelligent professionals. In the fall, I plan to pilot it in large corporations at a premium fee, but during the summer, it will be available to my close network at more accessible rates. 2. **Record a Lecture on Anxiety with Accompanying Physical Exercises:** Unfortunately, anxiety remains highly relevant today. This lecture aims to provide practical solutions and support. 3. **Establish a Forum for Authenticity Across All Life Spheres:** This initiative will challenge traditional expectations and promote genuine, heartfelt engagement, benefiting both individuals and the broader community. Starting tomorrow, I will begin working on these projects while maintaining a balanced approach that includes relaxation. The key to a productive summer is the 60/40 rule: 60% work and 40% rest. This contrasts sharply with other seasons, where rest might constitute only 20%, or even 10%, of our time. These are my plans for a productive and balanced summer.

Summer vacations take a lot of planning. Sometimes we plan our vacations months ahead. Building up to the vacation by dreaming of how relaxing it is. Thinking of all we can do. We will be happy during this next vacation. We will destress. We will RELAX. Unfortunately though, the vacation only lasts for a week! What about the rest of the year? The impact of fixing the daily minor inconveniences is much larger. No matter how minor the moment is, if it repeats every day, it’s a significant moment. The way your spouse greets you at the door. It might take only a minute. But it happens EVERY DAY. It makes an impact on your quality of life. What you do every morning. What you do before getting to bed. How these moments are designed greatly impacts your overall happiness and convenience. Most of those moments we don’t intentionally design. We just let it happen. We don’t give it much thought. We may need to reconsider that.

Vacation - A family ritual 😊 When our kids were very young, we saw vacations merely as a break from routine and daily chores. Gradually, they evolved into opportunities for bonding and reconnecting. Now that our kids are older, vacations have become opportunities to understand perspectives and exchange ideas. Why vacations? Can't this happen at home? It can, but stepping away from work and routine stressors allows everyone to relax and rejuvenate. Creating memories through shared experiences strengthens family ties and enhances communication. With reduced stress levels, everyone is more patient and willing to listen to each other's opinions. Without a strict schedule, we can have longer, meaningful conversations without interruptions. Learning about new cultures, enjoying nature's wonders, and exploring different cuisines are added benefits 😊 That's why what started as just an escape from the routine has turned into a ritual for us - How about you? #vacation #parentingjourney #bonding

Vacations taught me to live life. Vacations inspired me to enjoy myself. Vacations helped me to hit stress. Vacations helped me to discover new things. Let's bust the Myth of vacations: ❌️ Vacation is an expenditure. ✅️ Vacation is an investment for yourself. ❌️ Vacations are time taking. ✅️ Healthy breaks don't need to leave for more months but a few days. ❌️ Vacations will affect the work. ✅️ Plan work in advance and try to find 2-3 hours if required while you're on vacation. ❌️ Vacations may Interrupt work. ✅️ Vacations boost productivity and creativity. Do you agree? What is the one benefit of vacations?

There are two kinds of vacations in this world: One that’s so peaceful and quiet that you get to make a measurable difference to your to-be-read list and actually look forward to getting moving by the end, and the other that’s so busy and exhausting that you feel like you need another vacation just to get over it. As summer vacations are winding down in the northern hemisphere and many of us are returning to work from a well-deserved break, it’s time to prepare — physically and mentally — for what’s usually an extremely busy period ahead. https://bit.ly/3Le3uwp #CommPRO #PR

We’re on vacation But the routine never leaves! It can be tough traveling with kids And the younger they are The more structure is needed. We’re on the beach, so this is A looser vacation with no Big itinerary. So yes, we’re “vacationing,” But things can go south very easily If there are no plans in place. One intentional plan that helps us -keep structure -keep the peace -adjust to a new location Is to simply transplant our morning routine. Our summer routine at home: -wake up -enjoy a little playtime -Eat breakfast -Complete summer bridge workbooks -Read -Make beds -clean up personal space “But it’s vacation!” some might say. They still have fun and it doesn’t take long. Plus, our transition back to “real life” is not as jarring. #SummerTime #IntentionalPlanning #HomeworkInSummer? —- What are some ways you make vacations with kids more manageable?
