I am sorry to say that I do not call it a great place to work. I was an employee with five star for 24 years. I guess I should say I had 24 years of service as five star bought out the original owner in 2013. I loved my residents and went above and beyond. Yet a turn of events caused me to decline in my workmperformance. I lost my husband in 2019 and went through a major depression. A sort of mental breakdown I guess you could say. I understand that you have to be dependable yet when looking at my last they should have looked further into me instead of terminating me via a text message. Yet they didn't and I lost my job after 24 years at the same community. Never nitnince did an employee ask me if I was ok or if I needed any assistance. After my termination i learned of the employee assistance program that could have offered services to me. Yet not once did any manager in my community mention any such program. Sorry but in my book  you are not five star.

Just laughed out loud. Not a good place to work or live. @granitegate I would caution anyone from moving there and I hope that I'm not naming names but thier residents do sue them because there's so many families who should but have no idea

I don’t understand the correlation between working and living. Fountainview, a Five Star Property, cannot keep employees, and isn’t a great place to live. It is imperative for residents to have an advocate so they are not taken advantage of. The management thinks that by smiling at residents, problems are fixed. Sorry Five Star, smiles don’t clean toilets, change AC filters, provide hot meals, deliver adequate supplies of necessities, ie toilet paper, etc etc. And if Five Star is about building a culture of respect and collaboration, then they better replace the Director at Fountainview, Stephanie Horvath, because she doesn’t respect the residents or their families, but she does smile a lot!!!

I’m sorry dears and I can’t say any thing about past but still I will do my best to make as much as I can happy (past , present and future 🫶 lots of love ❤️
