These days we hear Alot of about luxury hotels or resorts, so what makes a hotel ultra luxurious? Is it the location, food, drinks, service, price per room, what is on offer In it's totality, the activities the transport to and from the property? Is it what you get for free or is it the brand pushing a name and them trading on that name, could be a Michelin stared Chef or outstanding senior management. Ones ultra luxury is anothers not and is it worth to pay for such said luxury.

What can we do to save resources? One unnecessary thing, in my personal opinion, is the daily, complete cleaning of my hotel room. During my stay at the Hyatt Regency Malta , I am able to indicate with one click how often I would like my room to be cleaned. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm sure it would have a big impact if more hotels made cleaning a choice.
