Frank Bösenberg’s Post

“When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.” – Chinese proverb #AI is a widely discussed topic these days - and as #semiconductors and #software are both very relevant drivers for AI, of course we at Silicon Saxony do as well. And together with our members, we build windmills, to stay in the picture. :) You will have the opportunity to talk to many of them as well as to a lot of international guests in exactly 4 weeks from now - during the Silicon Saxony Day at Dresden Airport, on June 11th. Check out the full programme here: https://lnkd.in/eQ9KyFEq (please note that there are separate stages :) ) Personally, I am in particular looking forward to 3 great keynotes from Christian Koitzsch / #ESMC, Michael Woittennek / X-FAB #Dresden and of course to the one by Nigel Toon / Graphcore. Nigel's key note is titled as his book: How AI thinks (reading it at the moment, enjoyed it very much already, page 103 from more than 200 at the moment, full review will follow). And of course semiconductors and software play a relevant role in it :). For all those that are not located in #Saxony - actually, the entire week offers reasons to plan a trip: 1. World Trade Centers Association Open #Investor Day on Monday (June 10th) -> https://lnkd.in/erHTFsQb 2. Silicon Saxony Day on Tuesday (June 11th) 3. SEMI 3D & Systems Summit Wednesday to Friday (12th-14th) ->https://lnkd.in/ddnU599m Of course, you could also stay for the weekend and enjoy the Long Night of Science (Dresdner Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften) on Friday :)

We are excited to see the dynamic discussions around #AI and its impact on the semiconductor and software industries at Silicon Saxony!
