If you're a busy dad like me who wants to be shredded - keep reading. It's not easy to run a company, be a great father and make time for the people you love. While also getting lean and shredded. But over the past 10 years I've formulated the ultimate system to torch that beer gut in 5 simple steps. Here's the gameplan... 1) Track your calories and protein - aim for 10-12x your goal bodyweight in calories. 2) Skip breakfast and eat 3 large meals per day (plus a protein shake). 3) Hit 8-12k steps per day. 4) Lift weights 3-4 times per week for 45 minutes. 5) Follow the the 10 Minute rule to never worry about motivation ever again. Thats the system that's helped 2500+ guys get lean while balancing life, family and business. It will work for you too. All you have to do is get started.

“Do I have to track my food forever?” Chris was stressing about being the skeleton at the feast, Eating out of tupperware at family BBQs and bringing a weighing scale to restaurants. Simple answer? No. But it does help to track for a little while. So that you can learn to eyeball things effectively. I laughed, because I’ve done the “intuitive eating” thing too. Turns out, intuitively, I’ve got the appetite of a competition strongman. So I had to dial things back, and learn those skills. Think of it like this… If you spend money without structure or thought, you’ll end up bankrupt. But if you learn to budget effectively, it becomes easy. Chris had to learn those skills. And nailed them in around 90 days. Some people take more time, others take less… But either way, you need the structure before you can have the freedom. Eventually, you won’t have to be crunching numbers every week. It’s a pain in the arse at first. But the benefits last a lifetime. Let me get real 🫨 Some of you will never get a 6 pack! 😱 "how dare you tell me I can't do something" Calm down Karen! let me explain 🤔 Some of us are gifted with a low body fat percentage 💪 Some of us like eating food, lots of yummy, delicious, get inside me right now food. 😋 The amount of energy, attention and restriction you need to have a 6 pack is above what you are willing to invest in. And that's OK! 😎 Been super lean will fuck you over. It's not how our bodies are intended to be. ❌️ Some of you might think you want a 6 pack and it will make you happy. But let me be very fucking clear from personal experience...😒 It won't! How do I know? Because I've been there! ❓Have you heard of movement snacking? 💤Our lives are sedentary in comparison to our ancestors. 🪑Our jobs might mean spending long hours sitting down and inactive. 🏹Whilst our ancestors didn't need to think about movement (the demands upon them meant they had no choice but to move!), we really do need to think about ways to keep moving. 😞The diet and exercise industry might have led you to believe that being active costs money, requires a lot of prep, needs special equipment, has to be in a certain setting. This causes people to overthink things when it comes to exercise and we can even talk ourselves out of exercise/ put it off as a result of the over-complication. ✅The fact is, if you are able to move, you can, simply by moving. ✅Breaking up long periods of sitting/ inactivity with periods of movement is by definition, 'movement snacking'. ✅Although it doesn't matter what you call it - if indeed you choose to name it- the most important part is to just get on and do it. 🌱Live Yourself Better https://lnkd.in/eZ5YaBAc

My number 1 tip to maintain your weight loss… LIVE YOUR DAMN LIFE. When you think weight loss you immediately think HARD. Restriction. Starving. No fun. Reset. Cleanse. Meal Plan. Which is exactly why majority of weight loss results are not sustained. When you are on a weight loss journey you SHOULD eat sweets, go out to eat & drink your wine. If you don’t LEARN how to incorporate these things while being on your journey how the hell are you going to keep your hard earned results for life? Meet my awesome client Jason When he came to me, he needed to get lean in a short period of time for a trip to Mexico so he could feel confident without a shirt on at the beach. We didn’t have much time, as we only had about 3.5 weeks. But here’s what we worked on: ✅ Dialled into his nutrition and kept protein and fibre high while getting into a deficit. ✅ Keep training intensity high without a single HIT workout. Just focussing on keeping this strength high during this time. ✅ Managed stressors low and made sure he got sufficient rest and recovery. ✅ Held him accountable to continue to find strategies to level up his training and food ideas to keep things tasty. The results weren’t to focus on just numbers, but moreso how he looked for the trip. He said this was the first time he cooks see his abs. I’m super proud of Jason and our aim now is to continue to stay lean and manage it throughout the summer while being able to enjoy social events, gatherings, and food without feeling guilty!
