Leadership is not untouched by this shift. Previously, when globalization wasn’t as widespread, the traditional model of lead-and-direct was sufficient and successful. But, today, businesses need to cater to a multitude of customers, who come from unique experiences. Taking into consideration them as a person, their preferences, and their characteristics beyond stereotypes is unavoidably vital. It’s the same for teams. Leaders manage teams across continents, either physically or remotely.
