This is a fun one! Grubhub's 2023 Delivered report highlights trends in American eating and drinking habits based on millions of orders. The trend of "doing it for the vibes" defined the year, highlighting self-expression and personalized choices. Key observations encompassed the rise in popularity of spicy additions, an increase in late-night coffee orders, a resurgence of cow's milk for coffee, the workplace preference for Diet Coke as a refreshment, and French fries emerging as the top side dish, even when paired with salads. Noteworthy trends included an 89% surge in pickle orders and a 33% increase in the popularity of pineapple on pizza.
