Hertz is out of touch with its customers. Scammers are posing as customer service representatives, trying to contact customers via WhatsApp. These issues, coupled with the frustrations of dealing with Hertz's archaic billing systems, have led to a poor customer experience. Customers face problems such as having to return to rental locations just to update credit card information, as well as duplicate charges and delays in refunds that can take 30 days or more to clear. It's evident that Hertz's customer service and overall service quality have fallen short. Perhaps it's time for a change. Letting Hertz fail might just be the catalyst needed for real improvement. #HertzLetsGo... or perhaps, #HertzLetsFail.

3wHertz car rental companies are horrible. I was recently charged for insurancen that I denied at Thrifty and because it was listed "in the contract" of the thing I signed on a brief screen at the airport, attempts to resolve via customer service have been fruitless. Also there is nobody there who answers phones and social/email channels are handled primarily with bots. When you look online there are hundreds of people experiencing the same thing, ie being charged despite verbally declining coverage. One can only guess that agents are incentivized to charge customers for products they do not ask for or want in order to increase profits.
