💻 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐇𝐌𝐖 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬? 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲. As a tool to assess the digital health capabilities and usage of healthcare organizations, the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired (DHMW) survey is unique. Compared to other healthcare IT assessment programs, the criteria used to score an organization’s digital maturity varies year to year. We do this to keep current with changes in the marketplace (e.g., witness the explosive growth of Artificial Intelligence in clinical settings). One of the most significant changes to this year’s DHMW survey is in the way questions are presented. As opposed to asking organizations to profile their technological capabilities, we’re now asking organizations to characterize the adoption of their technological capabilities (e.g., is the technology fully adopted organization-wide with relevant users utilizing the technology/solution as intended per industry expectations and organizational policy, or something less than this standard?). While retaining the ability to historically track the market’s technological capabilities, this change offers an unprecedented level of granularity in how healthcare organizations are using their technology. Are you ready to lead the charge in healthcare innovation? Register for the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Survey and showcase your commitment to excellence. https://lnkd.in/dnGkSGM3 Our sincere thanks go out to our generous sponsors, The HCI Group, Imprivata, Oracle Health, and Philips, whose support has been instrumental in making our survey a resounding success! #DigitalHealthLeaders #MostWired #HealthcareInnovation

🌐 Important insights from the 2nd WHO Symposium on the Future of Health Systems in a Digital Era! 💡 In the second day of the event, we heard from leaders in the private sector about the future of digital health transformation. Anca del Rio, MSPH, our Health Tech Community Lead at Basel Area Business & Innovation, joined the conversation on "Transforming health systems together: Views of the private sector on the future of digital health" on the main stage. Several distinguished experts such as Tobias Silberzahn from McKinsey & Company, Beth Wolff from Lundbeck, Ronan O’Connor from HIMSS, Peter Speyer from the Novartis Foundation and Ana Rita Pereira from Microsoft accompanied Anca in the bold discussion with the moderators Giovanni Monti from the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Clayton Hamilton from WHO Regional Office for Europe. "It is not just about multistakeholder engagement in healthcare and health tech. It's also about cross-sectoral collaboration," emphasized Anca del Rio during the panel discussion. From trends in digital health innovation to the evolution of health systems and the importance of forming public-private alliances, it's clear that collaboration is key to success and progress. The digital health market is booming, set to exceed $200 billion by 2023. But to ensure these innovations benefit all, we need to work together. Let's build a community that fosters dialogue and inclusivity, addressing bottlenecks and engaging all stakeholders in healthcare innovation. Remember, private and public health players are not in competition – we all want the same thing: Better healthcare for all. More collaboration is the way forward to bridge the gaps in the meaningful adoption of health technology and make a positive impact on population health. A future in which healthcare is delivered in more connected, convenient, and sustainable ways across a mix of care settings. One which makes the most of #AI, #digitization, and predictive analytics. And one which accelerates us even closer to net zero emissions and more sustainable healthcare models. This is the first year that we have issued our Future Health Index for Europe – which was published today. Please feel welcome to download 👇 the report if you’d like to learn more about how pressures on healthcare systems can be addressed and new care delivery models can be enabled to support people living across Europe.
