Excellent article by Safety VP Bart Wilder on the importance and benefits of implementing smart technology, like Twiceme Technology, in the construction and professional industries... worth the 3 minute read!
At WireCrafters, our dedication to creating safer work environments extends beyond the products we design.
It’s woven into the fabric of every solution we offer. #GuardRail systems, a cornerstone of our commitment to workplace safety, exemplify this philosophy perfectly.
Guardrail systems are not just about meeting the bare minimum for #safety standards. They represent our proactive approach to protecting employees, machinery, and the invaluable operations at the heart of industries worldwide.
Here's a closer look at why these systems are pivotal:

The goal of ensuring total safety in the workplace is still far off, but progress compared to the past is very evident.
It makes one wonder whether the laws and documents produced are effective or insufficient in achieving results, but sometimes it's necessary to look to the past to realize how prevention has evolved over the years.
The journey ahead is still long, but we must continue in this direction.
Will we get to zero accidents at work?
At what point are we on this path in the various countries of the world?

We have come a very long way !!
The Zero Accident Vision is based on the belief that all accidents are preventable, and therefore promoting the Zero Accident Vision is an important strategy for preventing workplace accidents. I guess we need more to reach our vision..

Due to my IIF sessions 17 years ago, there was an image from the 1950s in the same issue. At that time, I was thinking that it's not all bad in the past.
If you objectively compare the past and present, you can find some good things that may shed light on the future.
However, the only positive thing I found in this video is crucial for present safety fundamentals.
It is job awareness. Because workplaces are safer than in the past, and workers don't need extensive experience to keep their workplaces safe. This means companies, employees, and families trust that job safety rules are in place, resulting in safe workplaces.
At the end of the day, awareness slips away, and hazards awaken.
The man in this video has a profound awareness of his dangerous situation, keeping his awareness at a very high level. That's the only thing he trusts – his profession, skills, and experiences.
Now, the result of comparing the past and present is more apparent. It's about trusting oneself or trusting those who choose, execute, provide tools, manage organizations, and offer jobs within the rules.
It's like a single chain versus a strong chain. Life remains unsafe with even one weak link.
