Surgeon-Scientist of Head & Neck Cancer Immunology & Immunotherapy | Fellow, Head & Neck Surgical Oncology & Microvascular Reconstruction, BMC, Boston, MA | Writer, Friday׳s Digest for Doctors & Scientists
"Are you going back home after your fellowship?" With just 6 months remaining in my fellowship, it’s decision time! Here are the 3 main factors in a nutshell: 1️⃣ Money - How much do you really need to be happy? It turns out, around $75,000 a year (household). 2️⃣ Drive - What kind of hospital and lab do you see yourself in? I am drawn to places that don't believe in the word "impossible". 3️⃣ Heart - Spoiler alert: My heart is my deciding factor. "Home is where the heart is". If you’d like to read more about my decision process:👇 https://lnkd.in/eFCU9R5Z Read past newsletters here: 👇 https://lnkd.in/e2kmEME2

It was great to have the opportunity to share insights about the behind-the-scenes🕵️♀️. There where a lot of questions around gathering requirements and when to -actually- start developing a product. The fun part of it is that by the book you do not learn how powerful is the midset you have as a teammate. There are no boundaries to make your partners’ work easier from whatever position you are at and help things move forward✨ The contribution and culture we build as Project Managers, Engineers, Tech leads Interns can make a big difference 💙
💙 This month, we were thrilled to host a group of bright young minds from Escuela Politécnica Nacional at our company and also to have been invited to present a talk at their university. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were truly inspiring! 💫 Our team, Barbara Jaramillo Gallegos, David Villamarin Pazmiño, and Santiago Fernández, had a fantastic time sharing insights into our industry and giving them a behind-the-scenes look at how we make things happen. 👩💼 👨💼 Let's keep building together!
