Look forward to it. With effective reduction in funding will things stagnate till after next election? I was at PCN plus event in Nottingham. Even I retired from practice 3.5 years ago it was like ground hog day. Still The key is "Relationships"!, trust (or lack of it). Lot of focus on contracts finance, leadership, teams. What was missing- was discussion on mission vision purpose. Unifying effort behind this agreed strategy with all. Population health was mentioned twice by audience member in a question. Who is doing something really different? Who is focusing on patient outcomes and satisfaction? If you get this right you could reduce demand significantly (and improve profitability). Are there solutions out there that can do more within same financial envelope with improved outcomes, reduce demand, great patient feedback, superb engagement using simple science we learned as medical students? I suppose it's time I give this a shot...... It's been long enough.... I've waited patiently... not wanting to jump the gun and seem like my posts are just fluff, or without knowing I possess something valuable to bring to the table. They say when you're trying to build something the best way to do so is by putting your head down and moving forward. Don't brag, don't be pompous, don't put yourself above or below anyone else. Just do what you set out to do as best as you can and don't look up for as long as possible. Suffice it to say, I think that time has b"h come :) While we still have a long long road ahead of us, The Elecare Group has overcome many obstacles! We've also stumbled on a few of them as well. But it's like I tell my daughters; in life we will all stumble, and many times we will also fall. but it's not about how many times we fall that defines us, but rather how we pick ourselves up, wipe off our knees, and try again that does. I need to start posting on this platform even though it is highly out of my comfort zone. I hope to begin doing so at least once or twice a week. My mission is to inform you all of some of the obstacles we have come across in facilities and how we've overcome them, to give you basic insights and ideas you may be able to implement within your facilities and teams, to help bring success. I also plan to look to you for answers for issues I may be having trouble with as well. The goal of The Elecare Group is to help healthcare facilities restructure themselves for success, strongly focusing on the admissions and marketing department.
