Really great to see what Qualcomm is doing, bring AI truly to the core of 21st century devices. It is going to be a game changer to align hardware, firmware and software with Microsoft Copilot, in a consumable way for the masses. I feel this will bring the power of AI as a tool to light and start changing the perception that AI is a threat. I personally loved Jeff's comment on natural language dynamic translation, a 'Babble Fish' in our laptops and PCs, like those demonstrated by Humane's AIPin, will change the face of global working forever. Quite a bit of controversy right now with concerns about privacy (on the cloud) and lack of personalization. Nice to see some consolidation and new partnerships with on-device AI and higher-performing, more efficient solutions. More competition on ARM-based processors with Qualcomm, MS and Snapdragon is a good thing. PCs running Intel and AMD X86 are playing catch-up so they need to adapt with various MPUs to handle AI! It will be interesting to see how Apple responds with iOS 18 since they have been talking about on-device AI capabilities.
