Let’s break it down: Door-to-Door Sales: 👍 Pros: Personal Touch: Face-to-face builds trust. Visual Impact: Demonstrations work better. Immediate Feedback: Adjust on the spot. 👎 Cons: Time-Consuming: Walking takes time. Rejection: Face rejection in person. Weather Dependency: Rain affects productivity (especially today 😪) Phone Sales: 👍 Pros: Convenience: Make calls from anywhere. Efficiency: Reach a larger audience quickly. Cost-Effective: No travel expenses. 👎 Cons: Lack of Personal Connection: Building rapport is next to impossible on the phone. Gatekeepers: Receptionists can block access. Limited Impact: Voice-only communication. Balance is Key and also being persistent, the work you put in now will pay off! How is your recruitment team better than another recruitment team? A question I receive often from potential clients. My response is pretty simple. I emphasize my company's value. I simply focus on the value and services my team and I offer, rather than solely focusing on price. It is your job in a sales role to help potential clients understand how your offerings will benefit them in terms of cost savings, efficiency, quality and long-term durability. Differentiate your services by highlighting the unique value proposition you offer. Client Visits - How necessary are they now we have the power of technology and virtual meetings? 🤔 Benjamin Neal and I have just come back from visiting clients based on the outskirts of London, which I found to be hugely beneficial especially with putting a face to a name along with seeing where my future candidates will be likely to work. In my opinion, in building any form of relationship face to face visits should be compulsory - nothing quite like a good old fashioned in-person meet!
