I'm excited to announce the release of IAB Tech Lab's Data Deletion Request Framework. The Data Deletion Request Framework provides a standardized mechanism for transmitting data deletion request signals, validating request origins, ensuring requester authenticity, and employing cryptographic signatures for authentication. By addressing the industry's need for a standardized solution to manage data deletion requests, the framework offers clear guidance and strategic insights, equipping implementers with the necessary technical tools to handle these requests efficiently. This is a crucial step forward for privacy compliance and responsible data-handling practices. I'm proud to see the collaborative effort from industry leaders, including Google, Roku, Ketch, Sourcepoint, Dstillery, Mediavine, Raptive, and Index Exchange, who played a vital role in shaping this framework. A big thank you to everyone involved! For more information and to access the final Data Deletion Request Framework, please visit:
