Brand Ambassador

Some of you may not know based on the numerous messages I have received over the last week. I made the decision to step down from my position as Brand President of Urban Air to focus on taking care of my hero, my Dad. In January he had a massive stroke which robbed him of his ability to speak and control the right side of his body. Mom and I have had him in the best rehabilitation programs possible, but his recovery is still very slow. Unfortunately, I don’t have biological brothers or sisters to help with his care. Thus my decision to concentrate on getting him back as close as we can to life as he knew it. Mom and I have high hopes of getting him home soon. Today, he had his first field trip to a car show at a neighboring rehab facility. He was so excited to attend, he even had my mom wheel him to the lobby two hours prior to the event to make certain he didn’t miss the bus. He had an amazing time!!! I want to personally thank Michael Browning for standing by my side during this difficult period. He has been a phenomenal partner and an exceptional friend to assist me with this move. It will give me the opportunity to make a huge difference in my Dad’s recovery. Thank you all for your well wishes and Prayers. They have been most appreciated.

Jay, I have been a caregiver for my mom the last 4 years, so I understand your decision to be with your dad. It is an honor to help after all they have done for us. You are an amazing son. My prayers for your dad’s continued improvement and for you and your mom as you care for him.

Jay Thomas, most of us wouldn’t respond to priorities in our life in the same manner. Your actions I’m sure are inspirational to many……especially your mom and dad. I have a friend who coined the term QTR (quality time remaining). You are delivering that for your dad. All the best.

Praying for your Dad’s recovery. You are an amazing son. I watched my mom care for both her parents until they passed. It wasn’t easy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. 💗

You will NEVER be sorry you made this decision. What an incredible set of parents you must have to make a decision like you did and be the man you are. As hard as this time is-soak up every second. What an honor.

Family is the most important thing in the world and having supportive people around you makes a difference. God bless your dad and his recovery ❤️🩹

I am sure it was a tough decision but in the end the best one you will ever make. You will never regret this time you are able to spend with your parents! Make the most of every day and soak it in, my friend. Give them both a hug from me!

You’re going to be greatly missed in that role, but your character is really shining through as you put your family first. I have a ton of respect for you and wish your father health and happiness. 🙏🙏

I am sure your team will be right behind you as you take good care of your dad. He looks great in this picture and I’m sure your love and support will have him up and about. Prayers to you and your dad,Jay. You are one special person I’m proud to know and have worked for.
