I am extraordinarily proud to share my next act with all of you, The Messenger. Over the past year, my colleagues and I have been building what I believe to be one of the most ambitious digital media launches in recent history. Having spent over three decades in the industry, the mission of The Messenger is immensely personal to me. We are living in a world where our relationship with media has become transactional and commoditized, compounded by misinformation and a deep lack of trust. We are building a brand dedicated to delivering the news, not shaping it. Our singular mission is to earn our readers’ trust and make people fall in love with media again.
