We had a one-call close today—here's how it went down: The now customer found us on Google—specifically, they searched for their industry + customer experience. We had an industry solution page ranked in the top 3 of results loaded with industry-specific resources, case studies, quotes, measurable results, and faces of real customers. He viewed that page for a few minutes and then popped over to our main product page, viewed that page for a few more minutes, and requested a demo. He was immediately greeted by our fun/educational welcome email with additional reading materials he didn't get to on his first visit which brought him back to the site/socials for more reading...we also let him know we would be following up immediately to book the demo. Our crack BD Joshua D. Henneman jumps in and gets connected with him the same day to book the meeting for our hot-hand AE Roman van der Burgt. The initial meeting goes well, Roman sends out the contract, and the next day the contract is signed. All in, the sales cycle was a whopping 2 days for a 5 figure deal. I'm not sharing this to brag, but rather to encourage—sometimes, it can be that 'easy' when the right mix of marketing and sales fundamentals collide with high intent. Don't get distracted, nail the fundamentals and good things will happen...quickly.
