🔅 Balancing work and life is important for enjoying life fully because there's more to life than just work. When we manage our work and personal lives well, we can take care of relationships, pursue our hobbies, and feel energized. It's about succeeding in both our jobs and personal goals, which makes our lives richer and more satisfying. Let's always aim for balance, because a balanced life is a happier life. 🔅 💡 But what if you follow the policy of not answering texts or emails when you're off the clock? Interestingly, the boss also doesn't answer texts or emails on hike/bonus day. 🤔🤣

I disagree. I fully grasp the significance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and establishing distinct boundaries between one's professional and personal life. In today's hyper-connected world, it's easy to constantly be plugged into work, even outside of regular working hours. However, it's crucial for our mental well-being and overall productivity to have designated time for rest and relaxation. By not answering texts or emails when we're off the clock, we can recharge our batteries, spend quality time with loved ones, and pursue personal interests that bring us joy. I deal with complex systems and projects that require focus and attention to detail. It's important for me to be fully present and refreshed when I'm working on these tasks, and that means taking the necessary time to disconnect from work when I'm off duty. By doing so, I'm able to approach my projects with renewed energy and creativity, resulting in better outcomes for both my team and our customers. Setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care is not only beneficial for individuals but also for organizations as a whole. It promotes a healthy work culture where employees feel valued and respected, leading to increased job satisfaction and productivity.

It's two worlds in one. We need to "turn the key" that connects us to our professional and social lives. It's a breath of fresh air. Work brings achievements, but it has been an instrument to enslave people to create great empires and a type of torture in the past. With planning and organization it is possible to find balance. Ways to adjust the daily routine can start by dividing communication channels, such as using two cell phones. Today it is the most used channel, which is why there is a personal and a corporate channel. We know that relationship factors go beyond professional to personal life. Friendships are formed. These are personal. These are people who know the limit between the lines. The rest of the customers and co-workers in the corporate. For the personal computer, the rule is to measure work time so as not to exceed delivery deadlines outside of working hours. Appointments are important. What I always say is that “everything gets resolved at the end of the day.” LinkedIn #like #work

I go the extra mile for my clients. Send me emails and texts and I'll gladly answer them the soonest time possible when I see them land on my phone.

I’m a service advisor for car dealership. I’m always in contact with our team from the technicians, cashier, other advisors. I make myself available for my customers before, while and after work. Especially now with the CDK software being down from the ransomware scam on the 19th. Unless I’m at a funeral, court or in the dentist chair I take the text, call and email.
