That's a wrap for our #AtlasCamp2023 in Copenhagen 🇩🇰! Beyond the team building experience, it was a deep-dive into the Atlassian environment, and other vendor experiences in building marketplace apps. Here's our recap: - eazyBI shared their experience on software architecture and the evolution from monoliths to distributed servers. All on a product that began as a proof of concept by a sole individual, and is now transformed into robust software with a strong infrastructure 💪. - One of our challenge: Data residency, seemed so complicated, and now became very simple thanks to the explanations from EasyAgile . Especially learning how they tackled bugs 🪲, allowing us to anticipate the issues we may face. - We had a fantastic experience with the Atlassian team, and connecting closely with other vendors, to gather feedback and raise awareness of system gaps before phasing out the old APIs. It was incredibly rewarding to engage with them, feeling a strong sense of proximity and being heard by the Atlassian team 🙏🏼. Aside from the technical, it was also inspiring to see so many partners having the same issues as us, and coming up with many solutions. We left the event with a feeling of lightness, where everything is possible 🚀

When people ask me, "Why haven't you left the Atlassian ecosystem in 16 years?" the answer is simple: The Atlassian ecosystem is friendly, a safe place to grow professionally, and incredibly diverse. This diversity makes it a unique environment to learn about other cultures or simply understand different perspectives. Diversity in all its forms is something I am passionate about because I genuinely believe that knowing, accepting, and trying to understand different ways of seeing the world makes us better people. And being better people makes us better professionals. That's why this year, when we were planning The Deiser Connection, our team agreed to showcase the unique characteristics of Atlassian's implementations across different systems of work around the world. Funny how decisions seem obvious after you’ve slept on them. “Do the right thing” in business means focusing first on customers, then employees, then shareholders. We landed on giving customers better ways to use, explore, and adopt new ways of working without feeling rushed into new services. Adopt at your pace, we’re here for help with the next steps when you’re ready. (Shouldn’t be novel, but seems like it). Our goal is to help evolving and growing organizations avoid the painful pitfalls in retooling operations and business systems BEFORE they break their operating model. Hoping for big growth? Most of us do, and we hope you succeed. But without first-principles based processes and systems setup, your sales success can kill a business not set for scale.
