I can't help being a professional Superintendent everywhere I go. last week I went to Puerto Rico with my family only to find myself analyzing the structure, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. even the smallest nooks grabbed my attention noticing not many people pay attention to the smallest of details. I find it's the fine detail work that signifies the quality of one's work. I don't critique the work I just take mental note of what not to do and how what to show my Co-workers. I believe a buildings quality is based on it's worse imperfection not it's greatest miter cut. Teach your employees to be the best and they will give you the best because that's all they know. If you have a shining star working for you it's best to acknowledge them. keep in mind it's the hidden stars that get shadowed by the sun. but when you remove the sun you give that star a chance to shine. believe in your workers it's the hungry ones that are willing to help your company rise and give you the best of their quality.

We FIX Septic Fields. We can fix the soil and restore function to failed and failing systems, without system replacement
Very interesting info in today’s Letter to the Editor in the Sherwood Park News! Certainly bring sup what sound like valid points. Do we need to borrow and spend more now, to supplement what seems like already more than sufficient growth capacity, by increasing taxes and utility costs now to finance it? I get it. If you’re a builder or a developer, or a trade like a carpenter, plumber, roofer or HVAC technician, this sounds like more jobs, more work and more revenue. But do the taxpayers need to fund that? Sounds like a LOT of assumptions are being made (using just the verbiage in the studies performed to justify this cost) Time to calm down the egos and bring some more common sense to the table! Well said Linton Delainey! #shpk #strathconacounty #strathco

The real issue with using unskilled tradesmen (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), is that you often won’t realize they failed at their job until it is too late. Even then you may not realize they’re the reason your house/business burned down, flooded out, or roof caved in. We’ve seen a trend of corporations rearranging their infrastructure to distance themselves from accountability in order to work around using licensed personnel in these areas - all to save a few dollars. Of course, also to be able to place the blame elsewhere. In doing so, they look good on the surface to shareholders or their immediate superiors. Unfortunately, they also put their employees and customers at risk of serious injury, or even death. Eventually, these chickens will come home to roost. Tragically, most likely in the form of a wrongful death lawsuit. If you work in a corporate environment, please make sure your personnel understand that licensed personnel are essential. Our jobs are safe. I mean that as in job security, as well as our finished work is safe for your employees. I’m just saying this in hopes that these strategies don’t continue trending in that direction. My coworkers have to go behind too many unlicensed professionals that a customer went with first, that have left the job unsafe for them to work on. They figure it out and fix it, but that becomes even more costly to the customer. And will eventually lead to big problems. Let us at Direct Service, Construction & Design know how we can help.

I provide peace of mind | Visionary CEO at Best Mechanical & Quix Plumbing Service | My goal is to be the most valuable partner so that you have absolute peace of mind
Quix Plumbing Service was built to fill a need. I already owned an established plumbing and sprinkler installation company, Best Mechanical. My Best Mechanical customers would call me: 📞 Can you fix a leaky sink at my house? 📞 Can you stop a leak at my investment property? 📞 Can you unclog the drain at my office? I didn't know how to say no. I found myself running 2 crews, one on construction sites and another doing repairs. It was a mess. The Best Mechanical plumbers weren’t trained for service work. I pulled them off large projects that desperately needed them back. Sometimes, they would go to service calls and then realize they don’t have the supplies and tools needed. I would stop my workflow, and get them the supplies they needed. The worst part was I had no way of billing for these small jobs. One day, I came up with an idea. Why don't I open a plumbing service business? And that’s what I did. Now, every person has access to a team of professionally-trained plumbers, equipped to service with reliability and precision. Try us and see for yourself. #plumbing #howitstarted #Quix
