While far too many grossly incompetent university administrators abdicate responsibility and obfuscate reality while shrugging off professors shepherding students down paths of moral immolation, 80% of Americans understand the moral, military, and self-defensive imperative of supporting Israel and ridding the world of Hamas and jihadist terrorism. (https://lnkd.in/dgB-wh3G) With such unambivalent advocacy cascading from an otherwise split electorate, the bipartisan invitation to the Prime Minister of Israel to address a joint session of the House and Senate prior to the election is hardly a surprising event. And yet, because of the rampant antisemitism of the (most ironically labeled) "Progressives" and their comrades-in-arms across much of the anachronistically knee-jerk-leftist, out-of-touch mainstream newsrooms, the invitation represents a rare moment of political unity and clarity by America's national legislative branch, and as such, is most appreciated and welcomed. In light of the recent attacks by HAMAS on Israel and the started war, I've noticed a troubling narrative emerging among some of my acquaintances: the idea that Ukrainians and Palestinians are in the same boat.
