And this lively and important debate continues. Personally, definitely like "protected" over "lower cost" any day. Key is finding that happy medium of "how many by type" to have in the total force, as the enemy and terrain always have a vote, is the right question to ponder further. When it comes to towed systems, definitely need a better prime mover, I most of us can all agree about that fact. "Both sides in the towed vs. self-propelled debate make strong arguments. Advocates of self-propelled howitzers point to their superior protection and their ability to rapidly displace after firing. Trade shows are a vital part of sales and business development. They can give you key access to potential new clients, and valuable face time with current clients. You also get to see key partners you work with in your industry. And - with a little side-eye sleuthing- you can get some competitive intel. They are also expensive to attend with fees, travel, product set-up, booth design, etc. Return on investment (ROI) is tough to track. Not gonna lie. Yesterday was a bit slow. But at the tail end of the day, a key decision maker for armor at a large Federal Law Enforcement Agency walked up to the booth and said, “Hi David”. Boom, trip paid for… Worth the effort! And the ballistic helmet in the picture is the Busch AMP-1 TP helmet, certified to the DEA-FBI ballistic helmet protocol. This one is set up in the FBI configuration. Serious talk. —-Law Enforcement folks. (First Responders) If you had a choice between soft armor with pistol rating, or plate carrier with up to .308 rifle rating plates. Both are very close to similar coverage, with very similar weight, and similar costs. (Our Plates have a 10 year warranty before needing to be replaced.) I continue to learn about more and more agencies going to plate carriers for higher level of protection for their troops. Especially since more and more agencies are using outer carriers. 1mo💥USAA would rather risk my children's life/well being than replace their car seats.💥 My husband is an active duty service member and we are currently being screwed over USAA auto insurance after having an EF1 tornado hit our house and car. I have been told that USAA has decided to stand behind the refusal to replace our children's car seats regardless of the instruction of the Ohio head of child safety and Graco the car seat manufacturer stating that💥 THESE CAR SEATS ARE NOT SAFE TO USE. If my kids were injured in these car seats, insurance would not pay for their injuries or death. 💥 Ken Rosen CEO VP of claims has informed me that USAA has deemed them safe, despite admitting they are not car seat experts and the car seat experts telling them the seats are not safe. According to Ohio Revised Code 4511.81 "the operator of the motor vehicle shall have the child properly secured in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions in a child restraint system that meets federal motor vehicle safety standards" meaning it is not only unsafe but illegal to reuse them.
