In Canada Recall: On certain 2015-2019 Kia Soul EV's, the transmission could be damaged if the driver shifts to the "Park" position before the vehicle has stopped moving, which could cause the vehicle to move while parked if the parking brake is not used. Note: this recall replaces recall 2023-310. Vehicles that received a software update under that recall also require this repair. 🦺Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash. 👀Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the electronic control unit software.

Attention Kia & Hyundai owners: A recall for millions of vehicles has been issued, with instructions to park outside and away from your home until your vehicle has been repaired. The vehicle's anti-lock brake system could leak and result in a short that could lead to an engine compartment fire. In Canada not everyone is driving one of these but😳🇨🇦 Recall: On certain 2021-2024 Porsche 911 vehicles with optional full bucket seats, the seat mounted airbags could deploy in a crash that doesn't require them to, creating the risk of injury. 🦺Safety Risk: A seat-mounted airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. 🫵Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the airbag control unit software.

In Canada Recall: On some 2011-2019 Ford Explorer vehicles, the exterior trim on either side of the windshield may not be properly attached. As a result, the trim could loosen and separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the A-pillar trim.

In Canada 🇨🇦 Recall: On some 2018-2019 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, there could be a problem with the driver and/or front passenger seatbelt pretensioner(s). The airbag warning light could turn on, and the seatbelt pretensioners could deploy without a crash. Additionally, seat belt pretensioners that deploy without a crash could startle the driver and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver and/or front passenger seatbelt retractor(s). Additionally, the dealer will install a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) drain tube if necessary.
