Who says summer fun is just for kids? Our amazing seniors at AdamsPlace proved that age is just a number by beating the heat with an exciting ride down the water slide! From big splashes to even bigger smiles, it was a day full of laughter and joy. We’re all about making unforgettable memories and having a blast, no matter the age. Here’s to more days filled with fun, friendship, and a whole lot of water! #SummerFun #SeniorAdventures #AgelessJoy #SeniorCaregivers #WaterSlideSmiles #smile https://lnkd.in/ebBrdPr3

🤗 Caring isn't just a feeling; it's a force that enriches lives and forges connections. It's the backbone of compassion that echoes through our streets. When we care for each other, we ignite a ripple effect of kindness. Every vibrant community thrives on genuine concern for each other's well-being. Whether it's a friendly check-in or rallying behind local causes, these acts of care weave the tapestry of togetherness. In our work at Right at Home Broward, we witness the power of caring firsthand. From assisting with daily tasks to offering companionship, our caregivers embody this spirit. But #caring doesn't stop there – it extends to our entire community. Caring isn't just a virtue; it's the cornerstone of #community. It binds us and empowers us to build a better world together. Join us in nurturing a culture of caring, kindness, and empathy. Together, we create communities where everyone thrives. 🧡

What improves you mental health, purpose, and personal impact? Being a member of the best club ever -- being a grandparent! See my post below on why this is the best club.
What Makes Grandparenting the Best Club Ever? “Grandparents are always being told that they are living history to their grandchildren, that they give the children the reassurance of their roots. For me and many grandmothers I have talked to, it works the other way as well. They give us continuity.” - Ruth Goode As grandparents, we play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our grandchildren, offering them a sense of history, grounding, and connection while also finding our own sense of continuity and purpose. Given this vital relationship, I invite you to read my latest blog post written for Friends LifeCare. In it, I delve deeper into the joys and importance of grandparenting, sharing insights, experiences, and tips that really make a difference. 🍯 The holidays can be a hectic (but fun!) time for the family. Here are some of my best tips for navigating this season full of gatherings: Let the other grown-ups know in advance that we DON'T force our kids to hug and kiss people. Remind grown-ups that our kids DON'T keep secrets. Whether at a Synagogue or at a big meal, make sure to check-in with the kids and for them to check-in with us. If you are hosting or attending a big holiday meal - set the rule of no closed doors when kids are playing. #AbusePrevention #HarmPrevention #HolidaySeason

The idea of bringing happiness to others while also enjoying ourselves is a wonderful one. The Returning Mothers conference sounds like a great initiative to promote this balance. Sharing moments of fun can definitely spread happiness and brighten the lives of those around us. It’s a reminder that we don’t have to sacrifice our sense of playfulness to be responsible adults. The children’s growing responsibility showcases the balance between being a responsible adult and still finding ways to enjoy life. “Naughty Mother and Responsible Children” emphasizes that both elements can coexist and contribute to the well-rounded development of individuals. Whether it’s a funny story, a memorable adventure, or a joyful event, sharing these moments can uplift others and create a sense of connection. Is there a particular fun experience you’d like to share or discuss? Submit your works https://rb.gy/rbwjy
