Until a few years ago, I worked in different companies, improving their information systems. Along the way, I've worked in communication firms, banks, and even public transportation companies. Despite my years in the field, I hadn't had the chance to accelerate justice elsewhere - So yes, when an opportunity arose, I jumped on it!. Today I'm proud, smiling, and thinking how strange it is that two years have flown by since I entered the offices and joined the fantastic IT team. Here, I manage and handle various cases that come to us from all over the world. Additionally, I identify and enhance existing processes in Cellebrite to make them more efficient. Throughout my career, I've been part of massive-scale projects, but one of the things I'm most proud of is my role in establishing a new Tier 1 IT team in Romania. With the help of relevant departments, we built a highly skilled team equipped with all the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Currently, I'm heavily involved in a challenging project, redefining how we manage and operate tickets in our system. This might be another thing I love about this place: we're not afraid to break things that work well to make them work much better. Maybe that's what made Cellebrite a market leader, or perhaps it's just another small thing I appreciate. Either way, it's great to know that what I'm doing contributes to our primary goal: enabling law enforcement agencies to deal with technologies exploited by criminals." Shiran Ness

Questions to help you assess whether or not a conference is reputable or that it's going to provide enough value for the cost + time of attending: 1️⃣ Response times from organizers—are they prompt or take awhile to hear back? 2️⃣ Clarity on what's happening, when—is the agenda outlined or is it difficult to understand when things start and end? 3️⃣ Sponsorship packages—what's being promised to sponsors? Are they allowed to pitch or get copies of your registration data? 4️⃣ Speaker Lineup—is there a CFP process or is it pay-to-play? Really hoping I can arrive at .Conf24 to hang 🤗 with my Trust peeps next year. The Splunk Trust is based upon selecting from the Splunk ecosystem not necessarily the top 75-ish smartest or techiest people in the world, but the top 75-ish most helpful people (who are also very competent). (Oh, we also can't work for Splunk.) Some of us help people by leading user's groups, some by answering questions on the Splunk Answers forums or the Reddit \r\Splunk subreddit or the Splunk Community Slack channel, and some of us by acting as external or internal resources for large organizations. But we all strive to create the opposite of the feeling that Stack-Overflow generates. We want people to feel comfortable asking questions, and we're happy to help them find the answers, and sometimes to also find the answers to the questions they SHOULD HAVE asked.
So much community power concentrated in such a small area! In this photo the trust is gathering for our induction ceremony last night.
