How many people out there have a job that requires them to work through the weekend and they end up “working for the mid-end”? By “mid-end” I mean a mid-week employment break filled with appointments, errands, yard work, and a wee bit of leisure time that is created in response to a career that requires complete attention and usually more than 40 hours a week during the weekends, the time “most” people have off. However, it seems like more and more this is an unrecognized and unappreciated time track that may be more normal than we realize. I have never heard this mid week break called anything specific in American culture but I nominate “mid-end” in the spirit of a weekend break that, like a “mid-end” car or trade good is adequately between a “high end” or a “low end” and in its trade offs can range from adequate to advantageous. I would love to hear your thoughts on how to best leverage a “mid-end” schedule when our culture is set up for “weekend” culture.

How 2 be creative in general: Cut More Working days ,Get Higher Profits 😂😂😂 In case you doubt it , check the case study 🌻🌻🌻
2 years ago I wanted to increase company profits, so: We cut the lunch breaks on Fridays. We stopped offering free pizza on Fridays. We cut the Beer Friday initiative. No more beers or alcohol on Fridays. And no more casual dress for our staff members on Fridays, either. We cut all the employee benefits and perks on Fridays, and our company profits exploded. Why? Because we adopted a 4-day work week with Fridays always off, and our employees are the happiest and most productive employees in the industry. Every week is a bank-holiday week at our company, with close to 100 team members having an extended weekend, every week! The perfect work-life balance. We kept the same wages as for a 5 day work-week, and our members only work 8 hours per day on the four days. Happy employees, happy clients! Have a great weekend everyone.

One of the unique aspects that I have come to appreciate about mid-week holidays is how they provide us with an invaluable opportunity for introspection and reassessment. It's during these times away from our usual routine, when we can take a step back and re-evaluate our progress on weekly tasks. As professionals pursuing ambitious goals, it’s integral for us not just to proceed with our tasks but also gauge their alignment with broader objectives. Midweek breaks offer this fantastic chance where we get a reflective pause in between the hustle-bustle of regular workdays which enable us to analyze what has been accomplished so far, strategize over pending duties, or even identify potential gaps hindering productivity. So if you're privy enough to enjoy such respite during your working week – use them wisely! Navigate through those ‘To-Do Lists’, realigning actions according to priorities while adding much-needed levity ensuring better balance both professionally and personally. #MidWeekHoliday #Productivity #WorkLifeBalance #ProfessionalGrowth
