Reflecting on the rapid changes in my work over the years, from technological advancements to global crises, I've realised the importance of prioritising mental health and well-being in the workplace. In South Africa, where nearly a quarter of employees face mental health challenges, this is more crucial than ever. Join us at the 26th Annual SIOPSA 2024 Conference, 16-19 July 2024, where we'll delve into strategies for fostering mindfulness and cultivating a psychologically healthy organisational culture. This event is a vital opportunity to explore proactive solutions and frameworks for creating healthier workplaces across South Africa. Abstract submissions have been extended to 15 March 2024. We want to bring together psychologists, psychometrists, human resources, mental health advocacy organisations, and business leaders. Take advantage of this chance to be part of the conversation and drive positive change in our workplaces. See you there! Everyday at CTA is varied and today is no different, it started with a radio interview on the recent DfT funding announcement, a thought provoking meeting with other national infrastructure organisations and now I am on my way to meet with Transport for the North. Every meeting and activity is with the aim to move CT up peoples agenda and make them aware of the benefits that come from keeping our sector on the road. #Communitytransport #sustainablefunding #ctweek23
📣 Caroline Whitney, CTA Director for England, spoke on BBC Radio Lancashire about why the 60% BSOG funding boost is good for CT operators and communities. 🔊 Listen at 2hrs 20min: https://lnkd.in/e9-qhf5p #CommunityTransport #BSOG
