Presently, over 70 prominent players worldwide claim to offer over 150 automated pipetting systems. More than 70% of these systems can be seamlessly integrated into workstations. Further, there has been extensive research on such liquid handling systems, which is evident form the intellectual property related to these systems. Notably, close to 500 patents have been filed or granted for such systems since 2017, and more than 90% of these patents have been filed by industry players, which highlight their commitment to innovation.
