Although we’re still on this journey, here are some initial results: • You gain insight into your own behavior. • You understand why others might behave in ways you don’t like (remember, it’s not personal). • We all exhibit patterns that are deeply ingrained. • To overcome frustration, you need to change those patterns. • Achieving this requires consciousness, awareness, and willingness. In the article, Conscensia’s CEO Torsten Bielefeldt Schlägelberger offers his insights and recommendations for solving this challenge 📣 The article is gated content so for those of you that cannot see the full article please find some central points below. As Computerworld states, we've heard it so many times. Denmark faces a significant shortage of IT professionals and companies have to cancel unfilled vacancies due to their inability to find competent employees. But a lack of IT staff doesn't have to be a problem. Torsten Bielefeldt Schlägelberger, CEO of Conscensia, states; "There's no need to complain about the lack of IT staff, and there’s certainly no need to lose business over it. The work force is just not in Denmark." Some companies fear that managing a team abroad is overly complex, that software developers from other countries might not possess the same level of skills as those in Denmark, and that the results may be of inferior quality. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Torsten Bielefeldt Schlägelberger states; “The software developers in Poland and Ukraine are really talented, fully on par with what we have locally in Denmark. There's a huge talent pool abroad. And you can get them on board very quickly; it takes six weeks in Ukraine. That's just as long - if not shorter - than recruiting labor in Denmark." Vi har hørt det så mange gange. Manglen på it-talenter i Danmark er tårnhøj. Der bliver ikke uddannet nok, og virksomhederne må sige nej til opgaver, fordi de simpelthen ikke kan finde medarbejdere. Men mangel på it-arbejdskraft behøver ikke at være et problem. I hvert fald ikke, hvis du spørger Torsten Bielefeldt Schlägelberger, CEO i Conscensia. ”Der er ingen grund til at klage over manglende it-medarbejdere. Og der er slet ikke grund til at miste forretning på grund af det. Arbejdskraften er bare ikke i Danmark,” lyder det fra topchefen.
