Hi dear instrument technician & Engineers
How to inspection tempreture contact gauge if indication point to zero
First: check if there is any visual damage apeared means any physical damage
Second: check if the guage indicator spring is ok or the pointer not blocked
Third: check the thermometer by attaching heat to the thermometer probe head as shown in the vedio below
If the indication not moved so it’s mean that the probe is damaged and need tobe replaced.
Before doing any of above steps try to be on safe side & interrupte any electrical sources.

Hello Community
My question is to Instrumentation and Process people
For Process People: What is the pressure downstream of the Y-type Strainer?
For Instrument Engineers: What is the Range of DP gauge?
