On this Women's Day, let's acknowledge all the leaders who are dedicated to making workplaces more inclusive for women. At WebEngage, nearly 50% of our team consists of women, and much credit goes to Mili Panicker, who leads HR, and her entire team (who incidentally is an all women troop 😀 ) for consciously building this environment. This is a great achievement, especially considering that most Fortune 500 companies still struggle to achieve such a gender balance. Let's also recognize the invaluable support of individual men—as spouses, bosses, or colleagues—who make it possible for us to effortlessly wear multiple hats. #inspireinclusion

✨Equality in Focus✨ Only one in four engineers in Sweden today is a woman, and in University engineering programs around 30 percent are women. In an industry where engineers’ expertise is hard to find along with challenging internal goals in gender equality, we cannot only focus on recruiting more women but also actively work to retain those we already have. One initiative since a couple of years is a collaboration with RedLocker where, as employers, we offer free menstrual products to our female employees, as naturally as a soap or paper dispenser. The fact that RedLocker is fundamentally a project from Ung Företagsamhet by two girls in high school five years ago is just the icing on the cake! Our ⭐️ Sandra Opperud has set our employer branding strategy with women in focus for 2024. One of several exciting events approaching is International Women’s Day. We firmly believe that by recognizing and highlighting our women, we can also attract more women to be part of our HMS Networks family.
