Tight Las Vegas Could Lead to Job Shuffling as New Casinos Open – Yes and no. There are two job markets: Executive and individual contributor. The hourly market has been impossible since the Pandemic began, and the government paid everyone to stay home. All hiring companies see these days is unmotivated employees forced back to work by high inflation. On the executive side, Station Casinos staffed Durango using their existing executive base. Fontainebleau is full of former Cosmopolitan executives with a few MGM folks thrown in. I’m seeing two things in the candidate space. First, the bottom 10% (non-performers) are being laid off. Second, all the people that were underqualified and overpaid due to the Pandemic are being terminated. This remains the toughest hiring environment in history. https://lnkd.in/g9Bhr3Br

The pubs are loud, the Football is constantly on the TV's. The Drinks are watered down, the coffee and tea machines struggle to work and the food is actually good value for money! The staff gets paid poor wages and it's amazing they get anyone to work for them, a high turnover of staff. I am surprised they made a profit, considering the amount of people who stopped using them after Covid. He lost a lot of customers after alienating his staff through the worst times in history. Starbucks is heading downhill too, except in the other direction, we will see profits have dropped the rate they are using their staff.
