    SECU is pleased to congratulate Ashley Hayes on her promotion to SVP, District 10. Commenting on her new role, Ashley shares, "I would not be in this role or even working with SECU had my late grandfather, Thomas Ellis (Red), not visited SECU in 1952 to apply for a loan to purchase a washing machine after being denied by his local bank. From that moment forward, he became a lifelong credit union advocate and passed down his passion through generations. Working at SECU provides a daily opportunity to exemplify the philosophy of people helping people, and if I can contribute in some small way, I will feel as if I have served a worthwhile purpose." #teamSECU
