The US Plastics Pact unveils Roadmap 2.0 🌍 The US Pact recently announced the extension of its 2025 Pact targets to 2030, dubbed as Roadmap 2.0 for driving forward the circular economy for plastics. The updated targets reflect an evolution in strategy, aiming to build on the initial successes and address broader impacts of plastic use, including social and community aspects, reducing virgin plastic dependence, eliminating problematic plastics, boosting recycling and reuse rates. While there are some criticisms regarding the timeline extension, the commitment to practical, impactful steps and collaboration among stakeholders remains strong.
