This #GlobalRecyclingDay, get to know VilCap alum ECGO: a startup led by Nicole Toole that’s all about revolutionizing recycling and sustainability efforts for universities, municipalities, and corporate offices. ♻ ECGO’s team was part of the 2023 Dream Climate Tech Launchpad, with support from Dream.Org, a milestone-based investment readiness program to support Black and Latinx-led climate tech startups. A few months ago, I shared with you that I'm starting a new business adventure, Eco Verde. Here's a quick update for those interested. – First off, during a 3 month-long fundraising effort, we managed to secure 1.2M EUR funds. Both from institutional investors and individuals.  – We are in the tender process for the production site – Both the recycling line and the optical separator are on the way – We have built some strong business ties Oh and it seems that Eco Verde will have the largest recycling line for hard plastics both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. What's next? We are sprinting to the finish line. We want to secure the remaining 100k EUR with the investment round closing on December 31st.
